FISHER RIG
Over the summer of 2020, I was lucky enough to be one of nine students selected into the Pixar Undergraduate Program. Due to Covid-19, the original internship was cancelled and transformed into a remote mentorship. As part of the mentorship, I was able to work on a person rigging project that combined my love for art and technology. Fisher is the most artistic and technical rig I have ever made. I sculpted all the geometry and created a new rigging system that allowed for the limb growing/retracting functionality between any pose of Fisher's human and fish forms. I will have a much longer blog post about the creation of this rig on my website soon. I am currently working on fixing up the weight painting and implementing a facial rig that transforms in a manner similar to the body.
